相比變1和變2主題曲的高亢激昂，節奏強勁，《iridest》節奏較為緩和，但變形金剛的主題曲中，孟想最喜歡的卻是這首明顯沒有那麼炸，卻更能讓人共鳴的歌曲。
當電子琴優美的旋律響起時，孟想高舉著雙手，非常罕見地跟著節奏拍起手掌來了。

因為孟想的舞台風格向來是我行我素，很少去鳥觀眾，更彆說跟台下觀眾拍手互動了。

在溫暖的間奏樂聲中，台下有觀眾竟然感動的哭起來了。
這是一首溫暖的歌，旋律舒緩，歌詞簡練，悲傷之中透露著希望，整體給人一種比較憂傷的文藝範的感覺，在林肯公園的歌曲中，算是非常抒情的一首。
與此前氣勢磅礴、金屬感極強的《hat i039 ve done》與《ne divide》相比，《iridest》顯得比較抒情，給人一種完全不一樣的感覺，讓人聽了心中暖暖的，還有流淚的衝動。
